Daytripping Texas Riviera
Saturday, December 4, 2010
While some would argue that the title “Texas Riviera” properly belongs to the state’s Gulf Coast from Matagorda Peninsula to Baffin Bay, I will just say that Galveston is our (northern) Texas Riviera — take that! Ed and I took advantage of the beautiful, mild, spring-like weather to go down to the island and visit w/Becky (from Houston who was already there for the weekend), do some sight-seeing, and literally squeeze in another ride before the “cold” winter weather shut us in. We saw a bit of everything as you will see (in the slide show by clicking on the pic below), and Dickens on The Strand Festival was in full swing; however, due to time constraint, we could not linger. There’s always next year…_Lorenzo

I need a ride. Work work work. Haven’t even been around the block. I know it’s coming, might be cold, but it’s coming!
Denny,
There is always a ride!
In fact, this weekend it’s gonna be a short one, then we go see TRON!

Is there still a Galveston scooter group?
Contact Apollo Scooters, if they’re still around.
Thanks, I shall
