What A Shock!

As reliable as UPS can be…

Arrived today at my front door

Parts keep arriving for the SR50 rebuild project.  Today we have an Aprilia adjustable rear gas shock manufactured by Paioli.  The main reason for picking this shock among others is its unique asymmetric bottom end, which allows it to be pushed just a few millimeters to the left, thereby accommodating the super-sized 150/70-13 rear tire on the SR50 (vs. stock 130/60-13).  The serious factory-original good looks and adjustability don’t hurt a bit, either.–Lorenzo

"racing" means performance

Asymmetric bottom end will swing the orange coil spring away from the over-sized 150/70-13 rear tire (when mounted in this way)

Is that an energy drink hooked to it? Ha Ha
No really, I’m glad to see you fixing up that scoot. It will be something to be proud of when you finish it. Impressive looking shock!
