It has already been five days since the first rally of the season ended in New Orleans and I am still beat. Exhausted. Ed and I rode to the rally the old-school way, but Mother Nature had other plans…
Ed, next to the world's largest crawfish
We got rained on for a whole hour before reaching Big Easy, and I will tell you now that riding in the rain is not exactly what I would call fun. This evening, after the photos were edited, I thought that I should post a link to my slide show on flickr at the least so you all can see that the entire weekend was not a complete washout. On the contrary, New Orleans is built perfectly for scooters and we certainly enjoyed our share of it last weekend, and meeting all the nice people there at the rally was a definite icing on the cake.
758-miles round-trip, that’s all for me; but Ed, I don’t know how you do it? You left New Orleans on Sunday and went straight on to Mississippi and then back to Texas. Again, this weekend, you rode to the Mudblast Rally in New Ulm, Tx. I don’t care what other people say about you, Ed, but you’re a tough, scooter-loving, rally-going son of a gun!–Lorenzo
