(From: Charlie Walton of Sunday Punchers SC)
The Sunday Punchers Scooter Club of Houston is throwing a benefit/fund-raiser to raise money for our friend and Houston Scooter Battalion member Aaron (“Mr. Projector”). During Hurricane Ike, he had a one-vehicle accident, suffered some nasty road rash, and was released from the emergency room on crutches. One week later, Aaron was unable to move and was back in the hospital with crippling pain. He developed a rare and very serious Staphylococcus infection that spread to his kidneys, heart, and brain. The doctors performed a risky open heart surgery to remove as much of the bacteria as possible. He survived the ordeal, and after 2 months in the hospital, was released last week. In fact, he attended Robert Fox’s funeral. Aaron’s hospital bills are huge (close to $500,000), and he has no medical insurance…
The benefit will be Saturday, November 22nd at the Aurora Picture Show in the Heights, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
I/we are asking all scooterists for support in the form of your attendance at this benefit.
Thanks, and I’ll be looking for you there. It’ll be fun!
