Amerivespa 2008 Let’s Go!

Friday, May 16, 2008

Well, really, that’s a no-brainer. Amerivespa is only the biggest scooter rally jamboree extravaganza of the year! This year, the Amerivespa moves to Chattanooga, TN; and on Day One it features this incredible ride through the infamous “Tail of the Dragon“(318 curves in 11 miles). Check out this fantastic video for a closer look at some of those amazing serpentine curves:

Yeah, wasn’t that just a killer of a ride?! This is the one scooter rally you most definitely want to go this year, I guarantee it. Better get your vacation request in for July 24~27 (at least). Maybe we will see you at the Amerivespa 2008! Choo–! Choo–!

**During last year’s Amerivespa in Seattle, I had reported for Steve Guzman’s thescooterscoop.com To read my daily reports and perhaps to relive the excitement of it all, go here: Day One, Day Two, and Final Wrap-Up. Yes, and I go by “Lorenzo” now; and pardon Steve’s inline comments (he does that to his reporters). Click on the pics to enlarge when possible. You may see in that pic with the GL that gas was only $2.99 a gallon in Seattle last july. Wow, how times have changed…–Lorenzo
