Reduce global warming, get a scooter, and grab a water gun!
It was so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o hot in Houston! Temperatures topped 100-degrees over the entire Fourth of July weekend, with heat indices reaching 105-degrees and beyond. The Houston Scooter Battalion had a great idea for keeping it cool– The Water Ride! During the ride, we passed by several interesting water features and fountains. Everyone had a blast (literally) shooting water guns at each other to keep things cool and make it a fun- filled ride! Just to be safe, we only used water guns during complete stops. The temperature was so unbelievably high that when you were hit by a shot of water, it quickly tuned into steam; however, when we started rolling along, the evaporation cooling was simply refreshing and exhilarating!–Ron and Lindsay (photo & text)
P.S.
Thanks to Beer Island for hosting the event and for the free Lone Star beer.
