Yamaha Brings The Goods
[Originally reported by 2strokebuzz]
(OK, take a deep breath.) For the year 2009, Yamaha is bringing its flagship 500cc fuel-injected “maximum” scooter–the TMAX to America!!!
In addition, a 125cc version of the popular Zuma will also be making its first appearance here. Great news for sports scooter fans! Scooters that complete the 2009 Yamaha line-up also include Majesty, C3, and Vino. Gone is the low-rider 250cc Morphous (some die-hards will shed a few tears, I am sure).
Wow, finally a Japanese motorcycle company that has the vision and guts to bring over the goods which will no doubt be much appreciated by the scooter community in America.
What da f$%k are you waiting for Honda?!–Lorenzo
[Update]
Hong Kong’s iBike.com has a (translated) review of the 2008 TMAX. Check it out!
(June 28th) Golden Triangle Cycle Center in Beaumont confirmed that 5 TMAX’s have been ordered; however, the ETA ranges between late-August and sometime in the Spring of 2009, depending on whom you talk to.–Lorenzo

NOW THAT’S A SCOOTER!
Great accessories too. It’s important to setup your scooter just the way you like it. Check out the TMAX console bag it’s a tank bag for your scooter, and a very handy DC outlet plug for rechargeables on the road! Good thinking Yamaha
