Aprilia Introduces New Sportcity Line

2008 June 5

One look at the multi-media intro presentation on aprilia.com certainly got me interested today as it indicates that Aprilia has just added two new lines of scooters, the Sportcity Cube and Sportcity One. This shows that the Sportcity line is now complete, if not slightly crowded, with displacements ranging from 50-, 125-, 200-, 250-, to 300-cc. Wow, how exciting if you’re a fan of scooters, especially Aprilia scooters. No words yet if any of these new lines will eventually be introduced to the American market. One would only hope that Aprilia (or its parent company Piaggio) would allow us Americans to experience and appreciate its fantastic new creations. Bring them here, Aprilia!–Lorenzo

Aprilia is owned by Piaggio which also owns/makes Vespas. They’re definitely more cutting edge than Vespa but don’t have the brand exposure.
