Over The Rainbow

Last Saturday, before the Mardi Gras Parade, a group of us went for a little “bridge-climbing” over the Veterans Bridge and the Rainbow Bridge (tallest in Texas). It was a beautiful ride capped off by even more incredibly nice weather. Below is a photo of the gang that made it. Cheers!

After a nice “dinner” at Sanderson’s, we headed over to the home of our local music legend, Janis Joplin, and had ourselves a look at her humble beginning. The house in which she grew up in Port Arthur is now a designated Texas Historic Marker. Have yourself a look in the following video. Enjoy!–Lorenzo
