You Are Smart For Riding A Scooter

Scanning through this morning’s LA Times, I came across this ominous article. Now, if that accompanying photo above has gotten your attention–Good! If you’re already commuting by riding a scooter, a bicycle, or driving an electric car, then you’re alright. Otherwise, this initial “sticker shock” will surely resonate in your wallet for years to come. Industry experts predict that by April of 2008, Americans will see the price of self-serve regular gasoline approaching $3.75/gallon, with Californians paying even higher, at $4.00/gallon, or more.
